Here are some important things you should know - 

•   There is no god, but Nick Cave is hella close

•   Racism is ridiculous. ‘Races’ have only existed for the last 40 thousand-ish years, less in some cases. Modern humans have existed for 150 thousand years. 

•   Homophobia should not be tolerated by anybody. I fail to see any logical explanation for it. (FYI - “god created adam and eve not adam and steve” is not a logical explanation.)

•   Neanderthals had brains just as large, if not larger, than anatomically and behaviourally modern humans.

•   Rape is never justified. Nobody is ever “asking for it.”

•   A capitalist economy relies on inequality to sustain itself. An economic system based around the amassing of profits by individuals and private corporations will never stand for the best interests of the vast majority of society - the workers. 

•   A socialist system, whereby the means of production are controlled by the workers, is the only system under which the needs of the majority can and will be satisfied. Such a system cannot be fought for from within a capitalist economic and political system - you need to look outside the system, dismantle the system, and install a new system which will ensure the needs of the people are satisfied justly and fairly. 

•   The Australian Christian Lobby needs to shut the fuck up.
